Review content:
Much as I initially liked Dr. Kim, my gynecologist with this practice, I recently "fired" her out of utter frustration. While the medical care I received seemed good enough (although many of my questions related to perimenopause and menopause were greeted with a sort of shrug), the complete lack of basic "customer service" was appalling. I was routinely asked to wait nearly an hour each time I came in for a scheduled appointment -- and recently was stood up entirely. 45 minutes into my appointment, the doctor was nowhere to be found. Furthermore, no one followed up with me after I left the office in great frustration that day. And here's the capper: when I called several days later to inform the staff I was leaving the Dr.'s practice and to request my files be forwarded, no one seemed to care enough to ask me why. Shortly thereafter I received a stack of photocopied pages hastily put in a hand-addressed envelope, without any note of confirmation or receipt. In the weeks since this has happened, no one has followed up with me, indicating that this doctor is so busy she feels basic customer care simply isn't important.
