Review content:
This is definitely the true Wal-Mart of bridal shops. (Except forget about low prices because you won’t find that here). Only terrible service, quality and price. I would give it negative stars if I could…
I have gone to this store on two occasions…First I went here a few years back to find my own wedding dress. I had not been anywhere else so I thought that since the dresses were marked down from $1900 to $800 that I was getting a good deal. They also make you purchase a “bridal club card” to get this “discount”. Wow… is this a grocery store or something?
They pressure you into buying a dress that day by saying that if you do not buy it NOW that it will probably be gone. (And there are signs in every dressing room letting you know this). Also they tell you if you want your gown preserved you can get it for $99. But only if you pay for it NOW with your dress…if you wait it will be like three times as much. Gasp!
So I found a dress that I liked but it was not strapless and I wanted a strapless dress. So the sales lady convinced me that it would be super easy to remove the straps. So dumb me I fell for it and went ahead and purchased the dress. Well to make a long story short….$500 in alterations and two seamstresses later I was left with an awful unwearable dress. Their “in-house” seamstress was terrible, rude and impossible to get a hold of. So I ended up buying another dress elsewhere.
Well fast forward to a few years later and I accompanied my sister to this same store looking for her wedding dress. Yes, I should have known but I thought I would give them another try and see if they had changed….Wrong! Still awful service….The employees are terribly rude. No help at all. I helped my sister into and out of each and every dress even though the store was empty. Also, they only allow one person to go back with the bride and no children allowed at all for “safety reasons.” Strollers are not even allowed anywhere in the store! Wow so family friendly?
One thing I can’t believe is that they do not allow taking pictures. They say the dress “designers” don’t let them. Ya right! These are last season dresses anyway and who knows if they are even designer dresses when all of the tags seemed to be ripped out anyway. No pictures….hmmmm how are you supposed to go home and look at how you look to really think and decide about the most important dress of your life? Oh wait you’re not…because they want you to buy it now! The sales lady wouldn’t even allow a pic to snapped of her! Probably scared I would try to copy her hair or something????
So PLEASE do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this store. This is your wedding and you deserve good service and good memories of this special time. This is not the time to feel like you are dealing with a used car salesman trying to squeeze every penny out of you…this is a time for pampering and fun!
