Review content:
I purchased my very first road helmet from this store. At the time, I was relatively inexperienced with proper helmet fitting and ended up with a helmet that was about a size to big (according to the manufacturers own fitting instructions). I only realized this after getting it home and doing some more research into proper fitting and safety. Admittedly, I should have done this research before going shopping, but I regrettably placed my trust in the sales staff instead.
They have a "no returns, no exceptions" policy on helmets... which evidentially holds true even if they sell you the wrong product for your needs. Again, I admit that I knew about the "no returns" policy before making my purchase, but I was making the purchase based on the assumption that I was getting accurate advice from the staff.
Considering the above issue and the fact that price I paid for the helmet was $10 over the MSRP listed on the manufactures web site (which I was willing to pay for expert advice), I probably won't be shopping there again in the future.
I do give them an OK rating as opposed to Poor, because the store does have a great selection, they seemed helpful and enthusiastic while shopping, and I don't want to give a poor rating to an entire store just because of one mistake... which could have likely been avoided if I had done more of my own research before entering the store.
My advice is just to make sure you do a lot of your own homework before shopping there.
