I should have got it when I was told that I to come down (a two hour drive) and a salesman Mark would allow me to pay $50 down to get into my new car, which was an add they were running in 2002. I had an set appointment with Mark, but when I got there (remind you, he knew i was driving 2 hours to come check out the place), I was told that mark hasn't been in all day and infact that day was his day of each week and that the deal was actually over yesterday. I was sold a car that after a week of owing it, I had to drive way back to have them fix it, because they sold it to me with deffective brake pads and this took me having to pull an arm and a leg to have fixed. After I purchased the car, one day I decided to check the kelly blue book value and the going price for other cars equivalent to mine. It was a 2002 white ford escort with jacked up dirty carpet stains (oil & dirt), but of course they had the mates to cover it all. Well, I researched and the car was only worth $3,250.00 and being sold at other lots for no more than $5,000.00. Well, guess how much they sold it to me for...you would never believe it......a total of $12,235.00. Yeap, I was got for about $9,000.00. I have tried to trade it in and I can't of course. So I am stuck with it, please do not go here and purchase your car and you could forget trying to contact them. The other person's comment above is right, after they sale you the car and get your money that's a wrap. I have called for years and have gotten messages that the number is disconnected, I have gotten message greetings for whole different companies, I have gotten :ring, ring, ring" with no answer at all. Finally, 5 years later, I found their number (209)524-3600, so I called only to get "ring, ring, ring" and no answer. I bet there out on the floor ripping other people off. What I will do is try to do a trade in with them at their lot and I wont tell then where I bought the car. I know their response will be what everyone other car dealer has been saying to me, which is, "We'll we can't do a trade in beucase who ever sold you this car ripped you off big time and your are in the negative, meaning you own waaaaayyy more than it's even worth!" This way i can throw it in there face. "It's funny youo should say that, YOU SOLD IT TO ME!!!"...and from there, they would be admitting themsleves what they did and form here, I would be getting a better deal!! PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY ARE LOCATED AT 3120 MCHENRY AVE IN MODESTO, CA. AND WHAT'S WORSE IS THAT THEY ACTUALLY APPEAR TO BE A LEGIT CAR LOT....DONT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! note: the one star rating is too high!!
