Businiess name:  Klassy Snacks Gift Baskets
Review by:  TA S.
Review content:
In March, my husband and I were planning on a romatic 2nd honeymoon trip to Gatlinburg, TN. We had rented a cabin and I called the rental agency to find a place to order a basket to have delivered to our cabin. They suggested Klassy Snacks. I called on March 13 and asked a few questions and then proceeded to their website to make my order. I ordered a picnic basket for the day of our vow renewal. On the day of the specified delivery, we went to our renewal and got back and the basket was not there. We were told that it would be delivered during the day while we were gone. I called about 3:00 and asked about it and was told it was on it's way. At 3:50 the lady arrived with the basket. She insisted on putting the sandwich meat and cold salads in the fridge herself. As soon as she left, I went to get them out of the fridge and foudn the plate of meat and cheese to be very warm. The macaroni and potato salad were also warm. I called Klassy Snacks and was told that he would give me a $25.00 Credit. That was not acceptable. The entire basket was very hot and the chocolate was melted, the cheese triangles were melted, the champagne alternative was also very hot. I called back to have them come and pick up the basket. A few minutes later the same lady came back and brought in the cooler she had been riding around for hours with our food in. It was a cheap lunch box cooler with a melted re-usable ice pack. Not at all the type a cooler a delivery business such as this should use. What is the point of a picnic basket with no picnic foods? Their is none. It totally ruined our renewal day. When we went to town about half an hour later, the delivery lady was smoking in her car at the end of the road. Not taking it back as she was suppose to and not delivering either. They told me that they would issue me a credit as the basket was $108.00 with tax and delivery charge. They refuse to answer any emails and have yet to issue that credit. I have had to dispute it with my credit card. The question I have is, how many times have they done this and customers not know they handle the food in such a dangerous way because it was delivered hot and in unsatisfactory condition and had been put in the fridge as they advertise? I would NEVER consider this business and have made complaints about their unprofessional business practices.
