I went to Womancare during two pregnancies (one in 2003 and one in 2005). In all, I am happy enough with the care I received. There are some good things: The office has a program called Merit Grams that you can fill out if someone has done a really good job. This encourages everyone who works in the office to be really friendly. Also, the ladies who do the sonograms are wonderful. They go out of their way to show you everything you want to see and to take extra pictures for you, even though they say they're only supposed to give you two. There are six doctors and several midwives. The negatives are: at least 50% of the time, you sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes or even up to an hour and a half waiting to get in to see the Dr. and when you do get in, the Doctors almost always seem like they're in a rush to get out and see the next patient. When you deliver in the hospital, the Dr. is nowhere to be seen until the baby starts coming out, but I suppose this is probably true of doctors anywhere. Also, the Doctors never remembered me from one visit to the next. I guess I would recommend it. It's hard for me to say whether it's better or worse than other places because it's the only one I've been to. Hope this helps.
