Review content:
There are a variety of animal hospitals in San Jose and I encourage all who read this to go elsewhere. I realize the other reviews on this site are positive but they were written back in 2005. I don't what has happened at Akal between 2005 and now, but taking my pet to Akal was the worst vet experience I've ever had. The visit was below my expectations in a variety of ways:
1. Very rude technician during scheduling of the appointment
2. Cold welcome once my pet and I entered the building--I felt as though my appointment was inconvienencing the staff
3. Unfriendly vet
4. Horrible groomer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My pet looked as though her hair was cut with a chainsaw.
5. When I called to complain about the grooming they refused to fix it or even give me my money back! Ridiculous!
