Wally's Pizza originates out of Cambridge, Ohio where it has a very large and loyal following. Cambridge is located in southeastern Ohio and there was a strong demand for the company to franchise as people moved away from Cambridge. Current franchises are Marietta, Caldwell and now Hilliard which are all in Ohio. The Hilliard store is the first to hit a major market and a new franchise will be coming to Zanesville, Ohio in July, 2007. Wally's Pizza has been featured in Ohio Magazine's Best of Ohio issue for serving award winning pizza, as the magazine set out to find the best of what Ohio had to offer. This pizza definitely deserves the recognition with its method of preparation and results. The pizza starts with homemade fresh dough daily and is twice baked on a stone surface that results in an unbelievable crispy crust that no other pizza chain offers. The pizza is receiving raving reviews and has been covered by cityscene magazine as well in addition to local newspaper coverage. Wally's also uses their own Wally's sauce that is naturally sweet with no added sugar and no acidic after taste. The brand of cheese is provolone and has been a repeating World Championship cheese in recent years. All of this preparation and high quality ingredients yet Wally's proudly boasts that their prices are less expensive than the major chains. Wally's Pizza strives to be loyal to their customers in exchange for their loyalty to their products. In addition to pizza, Wally's also offers a wide variety of delicious subs, salads and cheesy bread too. Wally's is definitely worth the trip to Hilliard.
