Review content:
The menu has some cute names for well known dishes... like "Ham Bam Thank You Ma'am" for a ham sandwich, or "Surf Dude" for a roast beef sandwich, but that's OK because they do such a good job.
My lunch favorites are the pot roast sandwich (called "Laura's CIA") and the Linguica sausage sandwich ("Linguica Baboo"). I've had the steak, and it wasn't bad... but this is not their specialty.
My absolute favorite is "Aunt Marcelle's Sourdough Pancakes". You can add pecans, bananas, fresh blueberries, or chocolate chips if you want for no extra charge. But, just beware... they are different. You might be disappointed if you are expecting something like buttermilk pancakes that you can find everywhere else. I was sitting next to a lady that took one bite & sent them back. Good news is that they took them back without a problem & brought her what she wanted in a hurry. Pretty good service.
It gets busy for breakfast on the weekends, but we've never had to wait too long. The wait staff is friendly. There are a lot of regulars. (I hear a lot of "same as usual" and "don't need the menu, thanks.")
