We have been several times to eat at Gator Creek in Evans, Ga and we have been very impressed. They specialize in seafood, but they also have and gator tail. No one in the Augusta area fixes seafood like they do, it's the best I have eaten in town. The first time I went I got the fried oysters and the waitress asked me what I thought of the food. I just looked at her and told her it feels like I'm going to walk out the door and be at Hilton Head not Evans. I have also had the fried shrimp and the crab cakes which are to die for. The side dishes are not bad either. The slaw is good and the grits and gravy is very good. If you ever get a chance to visit Augusta area drive out to Evans, GA and stop at Gator Creek. The prices are great and the food is out of this world.
