Unless you're looking, you may not even know that Springfield is the home of one of the legendary Funny Bone Comedy Clubs! The Funny Bone, located inside the Break Time Entertainment Complex on White Oaks Drive (behind Cub Foods) hosts weekly headliner acts that is laugh-out-loud funny! The Funny Bone also has a monthly open mic competition, where local comics (and those from as far away as St. Louis) take the stage for their chance to win cash prizes.
Tickets for the weekend shows are affordable at only $13 or $15 for VIP seats. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the wait staff is great. Once the show's over, stay a while in the Break Time bar, sing some karaoke or shoot some pool. Open mic is FREE and is the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
The bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly and if you're hungry, they make a killer sandwich.
