Businiess name:  Tir Na Nog Irish Pub & Restaurant
Review by:  Amanda S.
Review content:
Tir Na Nog was another one of our Raleigh stops during our weekend in town. We stopped in on Saturday night when some local irish dancers were performing, and it gave a great vibe to the place. It was pretty crowded, and service suffered a little from it. I ordered the Guinness Pie (recommended by the waitress) and my husband had a burger. We were both not particularly impressed by the food. The burger was overcooked and the beef in the pie was tough. The meat should have either been allowed to stew for much longer or a better cut of meat should be used for the pie. The gravy in the pie was tasty, but that's not as hard of an accomplishment. Still, drinks were relatively cheap and this bar has a lot of flair and nightly drink specials which are good (more so on weeknights). I'd come back to hang out with friends for a drink or two, but not necessarily for the food.
