Review content:
Real food well prepared, presented and served? In Hancock NY????? Nothing off the back of a frozen food truck, and very little out of the deep fryer at the Bluestone -- this inviting nook in off-the-beaten-path Hancock has gotten rave reviews from some of NYC's most recognized chefs. For their spate of fresh organic salads to their down-and-dirty ribs, steaks and chops, and finishing up with killer desserts -- they deserve multiple stars -- would only that Zagats would get this far afield. Come hungry and be prepared to be delighted with the spirited specials, dazzled by the homey "Birch Bar" and to get sent on your way with a warm full belly. Take out too, if you can't stay to hang with the adorable and charming owners. Possibly the best food between NYC and Buffalo?
