Review content:
The Wicomico General Store is tucked away in the quiet little village of Wicomico (a subset of Hayes).
The little store has been there since 1957. It first started as "Bland's Store" and later became "Brock's Store" before being purchased by the new owner's in 2004. The new owners gave it the name of the local community, "Wicomico General Store" and it has become a favorite stopping place for many of the local residents.
From old fashion candies (some you probably haven't seen since you were a child), to groceries, beverages, gormet wines, nuts, candies of all kinds, gifts, 99 cent greeting cards, Beanie Babies, and more and more and more. It is just amazing what fits into such a small store, and the store owner, Mrs. C. is just the most friendly person you could ever want to do business with.
Stop in for a visit, and you'll be hooked. You will become a "regular" at this little treasure trove of a store that is "The Best Kept Secret in Gloucester Virginia."
