When FMA bought the place, it was supposed to be a great improvement. Instead it went downhill very very quickly. Laurel Springs is supposed to share a half time maintenance person with another property. when that person quit, they never bothered to replace him. The apt. manager went from being an easy to work with got things done individual who seriously only cared about covering her own end. I used to be able to call things in, suddenly everything had to be in writing. The repiping project destroyed many of my possessions and ruined others as the hired painters and texturers did not bother to take care of anything that was in the apartment that couldn't be moved. We also were given NO notice about the painters or texturers coming in and only lucked out because my husband was home and able to move some of the things out of the way before they showed up. I second the fact that the maintenance was done on a schedule that seemed to be completely random. Everything for showing up and supposedly fixing things and not leaving any notification to having less than 24 hours notice before they were doing a major repair. Not to mention the time windows of 3-5 days for some things (like painting the decks) were given and you were expected to just upend your entire layout for them for this odd amount of time - whether or not it worked for your schedule. I'm so glad we left.
