Businiess name:  Hersh, Camilla C, Md - Virginia Women's Health Assoc
Review by:  Megan T.
Review content:
Dr. Hersh was my OB/GYN for 9 months of pregnancy and seemed nice enough. On the day that my baby was born we all were shocked to learn that the baby had no right forearm and hand. It was a surprise to us all. Instead of explaining what could have happened and offering support her associate that delivered the baby only asked where I had my ultrasounds done and the explanation was that it was a fluke. I really needed support and they dropped me like a bad habit. I had questions that no one in the practice seemed willing to address. And while it was not Dr. Hersh herself who delivered the baby, she was "my doctor" and never even bothered to stop by my hospital room while on rounds to see me, the baby, or to discuss the birth defect. It is her practice and I hold her responsible for the terrible bed side manner I experienced. And... to top it off when I broke out in "pregnancy hives" within 24 hours of the baby's birth they suggested I see a dermatologist as they had no idea what could be causing the all over body rash... It was Pregnancy Hives.. duh! Oh, and just for the record I am Catholic and very Pro-Life so this is not a slam on her very active Pro-Life stance
