Review content:
This is one of the better Japanese places I've tried in this area. Everything tastes fresh and light, esp the tempuras and ton-katsu (not greasy at all). Also has lots of sushi and non-sushi options (meals are delish). Lunch specials are also great for trying new things as they change every week or so.
It's a bit pricey, but the great fresh flavors are worth it.
They can get very busy around lunch time, but the service is VERY quick. I think also some people interpret their quickness as lack of friendliness. But I would much rather get my food than watch the servers chat it up with the customers. Also, they've always been very polite and nice if we request anything or have any questions on the food. It's BYOB but their's a liquor store in the same shopping center (which also carries japanese beers and a few sakes =p ).
