WE'VE LIVED HERE FOR FIVE AND A HALF YEARS. MY CAR GOT STOLEN TWICE AND BUSTED INTO. A NEIGHBOR HAD BEES INTRUDING IN THEIR APARTMENT VIA THE VENTS. THEY WERE TOLD THAT THEIR "PROBLEM" WASN'T A PRIORITY. PROBABLY BECAUSE THOSE JERKS DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH BEES.
WHEN IT WAS 107 DEGREES, MY A/C TOOK A POOP. THEY TOOK 30 HOURS TO FIX IT. I WAS PISSED. AND SWEATY. MY PREGNANT SISTER WAS DYING. WHAT. THE FUCK. I SHOULDA SET UP HOUSE IN THEIR COZY AND COOL OFFICE.
I TURNED MY SHOWER ON ONCE AND BLACK STUFF SPURTED OUT OF THE FAUCET ALONG WITH GRAY WATER. I PROMPTLY TURNED IT OFF AND PROCEEDED TO NOTIFY MANAGEMENT, WHO IN TURN SAID,"BLACK STUFF? EW. WHY?" I FELT LIKE SAYING, "BITCH, I DON'T KNOW, BUT IF I KNEW, DO YOU THINK I'D BE CALLING YOUR LAZY ASS?" THE MAINTENANCE MAN CAME AND LOOKED AT THE WATER HEATER. HE TURNED OFF THE PILOT. IT REMAINED OFF FOR 3 DAYS. THANKFULLY, IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER. WE CALLED THE GAS COMPANY. THEY SENT SOMEONE TO RELIGHT THE PILOT, BUT HE SAID THAT WE NEED A NEW WATER HEATER, ASAP. I LET THE KIND MAINTENANCE MAN KNOW, BUT HE SAID THAT WE NEED TO TELL THE MANAGER. I DID. WE STILL HAVE THAT FUCKED UP WATER HEATER.
WE'VE BEEN THROUGH SEVERAL MANAGERS.
THESE APARTMENTS USED TO BE NICE. THEN GHETTO. NOW THEY ARE HALF WAY DECENT. THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING HERE UNLESS YOU HARASS THEM. YOU ALMOST HAVE TO GET UGLY WITH THEM SO THAT THEY RESPECT YOU. THEY DON'T JUST GIVE RESPECT. WE HAVE ALWAYS PAID OUR RENT ON TIME. WE RESPECT THE RULES AND DON'T THROW LOUD PARTIES. YET, WE GET TREATED AS IF WE ARE THE GUM STUCK ON THEIR SHOES.
I PARKED MY CAR IN A VISITOR'S SPOT ONE NATIONAL HOLIDAY...I WAS OFF OF WORK AND LEFT FOR THE DAY. I CAME HOME TO FIND A BRIGHT STICKER ON THE WINDOW OF MY CAR SAYING THAT IT WAS DEEMED 'INOPERABLE.' WHY? IT WAS DIRTY AND HOME ON A HOLIDAY. I WENT TO THE OFFICE AND THE STUPID BROAD THAT I SPOKE WITH CHUCKLED AND SAID "OOPS." OOPS? IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO SCRAPE THAT SHIT OFF!
I CAN GO ON AND ON. DON'T LIVE HERE. THEY DON'T FIX SHIT. I HAD TO PAY $25 FOR A PARKING PERMIT THEY DON'T EVEN CHECK FOR BUT THREATENED TO TOW MY CAR IF i DIDN'T GIVE IN TO THEIR CORPORATE DESIRES AND DISPLAY THE STUPID LITTLE PURPLE AND WHITE PLACARD.
