Review content:
About nine years ago I was a patient of Dr. Robert E Lefebvre, a nephrologist in Traverse City. Due to improvements in my kidneys, I haven't had to see him. Recently, I returned to his office for a follow-up.
His office has moved since I last had an appointment with him. He is now in a bigger office complex which he shares with two other doctors. The office is also a dialysis center.
I was amazed when I pulled in how crowded the parking lot was. I found a parking space but then found the lobby to be just as crowded. The front desk person, who was extremely nice and helpful, explained that it was because it was changeover time on the dialysis side (where morning patients were finishing and leaving and afternoon appts were starting to show up). Fortunately, I didn't have to spend too much time waiting in the lobby.
Actually for a specialist's office, I was amazed at how quickly I got in for my appointment. Their office is definitely a tightly run business and it shows in how smooth everything was.
Dr. Lefebvre is a great doctor. He's got a wonderful bedside manner and he takes the time to educate his patients. I was sad to hear that he will be retiring in just a couple of months.
