Review content:
I cannot say anything negative about the staff. I think they handled my Grandmothers funeral with respect and the dignity we required. However, I thought the furnishings were very outdated. It had certainly been remodeled on the exterior of the building, the inside lacked in style. Worn looking doors etc etc. It looked very 1970's. I can't say I would take a family member there again. They need to spiff it up a little and make it more welcoming inside. The exterior is very nice and well kept. Time to change the light fixture that has been in the foyer for several years. Like I said, they took great care of my Grandma and our family. I would recommend it possibly for others, I just am not sure I would take my family there. We only took my Grandma there because a family friend had used it several times for their family. We had never really needed a funeral home prior to this. I was just not at all impressed with the interior. I guess I expected something much more serene and beautiful. Not bland and plain.
