Review content:
This vendor was called to repair one of our two garage door openers in my apartment building. I took off work half of day for the first appointment, which the repairman no-showed. Nonetheless, he finally showed up 3 days later and I ended up paying $500 to replace the old "lifetime guaranteed" opener they had installed 5 years prior. . I specifically requested(although it should be standard practice) that if the opener had to be replaced, that the old opener be left with me for parts in case the other identicial opener broke down in the future, Nonetheles, The repairman did not leave the replaced part as I requested. I asked them to be bring it back and they said it was thrown away but then said I could come down to the yard and find it in their junkyard of trashed openers. I explained that I didn't own a car myself and was not able to pick up the opener. The opener was never returned, which leads me to believe if it needed to be replaced in the first place. I have been told by 2 oher repairmen that the symptoms described sounded like it just needed basic maintenance. Find a better vendor than this one...Not RIGHT!
