Review content:
My husband and I chose to have our wedding photos taken by 831 Photography because they were friendly, seemed to really care about our needs and wants, take great photos, and the prices were very competitive.
On our wedding day, our photographer and her assistant argued with each other the whole day. Even our videographer commented about how annoying it was.
After our wedding we went into the studio to view all of our pictures on the big screen and realized that not only had 1 whole memory disk malfunctioned, but the photographer had only taken a few photos after the ceremony of us together, one of us kissing and one of us looking at each other.
Thanks to Photoshop, they were able to "recreate" many of the photos we had lost, but it would have been nice to have an actual posed photo of us together after the wedding instead of a photoshopped one.
Of course, they do have an online gallery for viewing and ordering the pictures, but that can also be a disaster! I spent probably 8 - 10 hours selecting and downloading into the shopping cart the pictures for our albums only to find out that ooops the hard drive crashed and my whole order was lost. And, no one even called to tell me it was lost. I only found out after I called to confirm that they got the order, they then told me that the hard drive had crashed and lost my order and one other person's order.
Our pictures did turn out very nice. I would just caution those who choose to have wedding pictures taken here. I have since been warned by another wedding vendor that they had several clients who were also unhappy with their photography experience.
