Around 1945 my sister and brother and I attended a magic show put on by a man who called himself Blackstone. We were big eyed and excited to drink in all that magic being 9,10 and 12 years old at the time. We were only in Wichita for about six months and off to California. My daughter lives there now after following her husbands work. I am 75 now and it seems like yesterday when we were just wide eyed kids.
