Similar to other reviews, I was treated poorly by all of the staff, both in scheduling the appointment and bringing my clothes in, and was shuttled to a back room where they already had racks of clothes, most of which weren't in any better condition than mine. The woman who looked at my clothes was extremely rude. I think she was hoping I'd just leave the clothes there, as she knew I did not want to keep them. Finally, at the end, I called ahead to see if I sold anything, and I sold a whopping $15 of $183 worth of clothes, of which my cut was a meager $6. I asked if I could stop in for the tax receipt and money, and they said yes. I said I would stop in on a specific Thursday evening (the only evening they are open later). When I got there, my toddler son was not in a good mood and crying, and then I was told they would not give me the $6, and I would have to stop back again. They did have the tax receipt ready, however. It seemed like they were trying to scam me. I was extremely angry, since I had called a WEEK in advance, and it was such a small amount. They even called the owner, who wouldn't budge, whilst my child was now wailing. When I threatened to report them to the BBB as I left, I got a call the next day and they said it is not their policy, but they would be so gracious as to send me a check. I will never consign, nor buy there. I was excited at the prospect of looking there for clothes, but after this treatment, I can only imagine all the other poor women who had been treated as I had. A deal at that price is no deal.
