I was married in 1984 at the Oceanside Country Club (no longer in existence) under the catering of Kombert Caterers..I wanted a shul wedding but my in-laws were members there for many years and raved about Irwin's food. Kenny, his son had recently joined him in business. Although it wasn't a beautiful venue, the affair was beyond wonderful..my friends all getting married at the time couldn't believe how wonderful the food and service were..
April 2002..
They changed the venue to Temple Avodah in the early 1990's, I believe..Where else would we consider having our daughter's Bat Mitzvah??!! Irwin and Kenny were wonderful and we really didn't have much planning to do with the catering cause we entrusted them with every detail including picking out the selections. It was a spectacular affair. Linda handled every detail during the affair.
November 2006..
We wish Kenny and the Kombert family beautiful memories and continued blessings with a wonderfully successful enterprise..
