Businiess name:  Wendy's

Review content:
I really like Wendy's food. Recently I received a gift card for Wendy's as a Christmas gift. Not only was it purchased from a local Charles Town Church by my friends but was also supposed to be purchased from the Charles Town Wendy's. As so happens the owner of this Wendy's also owns one here in Martinsburg. Out of three Wendy's (one in Charles Town and two in Martinsburg) not one of them honored the gift certificate. I went and registered it on the net like I was required to do and it verified that I had a $10.00 certificate plus I could even add to it if I wanted. I wrote and called till I am blue in the face as the old saying goes. I finally was told I had to go to the next town. Well the next town is over 20 miles away and who's to say when I got there that they would honor it. Plus I'm 63 and really don't want to be out on the roads that much. So although I loved the food I do not love the way franchises treat their customers. Now I am sending back the card to the sender because they travel. Thanks a lot Wendy's C.A.Spencer
