Review content:
We went to him for years and he "seemed" to be good. Over time we realized that he completely ignored the fact that my son's lower teeth were very crooked and he should have had braces. Something I did not realize until he was into his 20s and after another dentist (after we switched) told us that this should have been diagnosed. I also found that having his wife as his receptionist and "dental assistant" proved to be more of a distraction than a help. As nice as she is, she did not follow his instructions consistently and as a result, I felt discomfort more than once because he was concentrating more on repeating instructions to her and jabbing me because he was aggressively putting an instrument back where it should have been because she was letting it slip, never taking into account that I was experiencing pain. He was much better when he had employed a trained dental assistant. He has a nice manner with patients but you can see his impatience with his wife when she is assisting him. Also, she had told patients that they could not provide "quality" dental care with certain insurances. She would have been better off just telling patients that they don't subscribe to a particular network and leave it at that. She made it sound like he would perform less than quality work because they wouldn't get paid as much from certain insurance companies. I have to give him a poor rating based on her being involved with the practice. I would go with a higher rating if she wasn't there because he was better in the past.
