Businiess name:  Edna's Cleaners
Review by:  DC ..
Review content:
I moved to Rockville not too long ago and started looking for a dry cleaner to clean & press some white dress shirts. Based on past experience, it's hard finding a place that does a really good job on shirts. So I looked for some reviews and read about Edna's here. With the generally positive comments, I took a chance and brought in three cotton shirts instead of testing them with just one. Turned out to be not that great of a decision, as I had to return three times to get problems corrected. First time, there were starch spots on two shirts along with one stain on the collar and a dark mark on the other. I don't think any of these were on the shirts when I brought them in. Also all three shirts had an excessive amount of colored lint, probably from them laundering the shirts with sweaters or something. Picking the shirts up for the second time, I made sure to check at the store, starch spots were gone, but the stains remained. They cleaned up the dark mark on one, but had to send the other one back. Got the shirt back today and the stain is still there, it's not worth the trouble anymore. To be fair, they may not clean shirts themselves and it's probably not a big moneymaker. Still they should be more conscientious about problems like this. It was pretty inconvenient having to go back so many times especially with rush hour traffic and having to cross Rockville Pike to get there. It's hard to say whether this is typical, you may have better luck. Or if you're satisfied with an average job or unexceptional results, you should be fine.
