My company took us to The Fox and Hound English Pub on Lyons Rd. in Centerville, OH and the food was excellent. We called at least a week, maybe two weeks ahead for a reservation on a specific date and time. They told us they were booked but that they would have the gm call us back. 2 days later that happened and we were told we could be accommodated at the time and date requested. However, when we got there, the two rooms were occupied and the companies that had the rooms were scheduled to be there an hour after our reservation. Our reservation was for 1:30 but we didn't get our room until 3:00. It turns out that the room we got was also booked for 5:00. At 4:50, we were told we had to leave because the 5:00 party was paying for their room and they would be there at any moment. I have been in customer service my entire adult life and the way we were treated was just not acceptable. They did "comp" us the pool tables for the wait, but what happened on the other end negated the gesture. It's quite possible that we won't go back. We have an event away from our office every 3 months and we spend quite a bit of money included alcohol; and this experience was not a good one seeing that it was the first time most of us had ever been there. Some of the employees might need to work on those customer service skills. Our waiter was excellent!!!
