This thrift store is ridiculously overpriced, poorly staffed, and governed by management that cannot price merchandise appropriately and cannot deal with customers courteously. The store was supposed to have been the Christian "vision" of owner Sue Hulon. I see no evidence of Christianity in the way this operation is run. Yesterday, I shopped there for the very last time. I purchased several items, paid for them in cash, and left the store. When I got to my car (only a minute later), I glanced at my receipt and noticed that the cashier had charged me $7.99 for an item marked $1.99. I immediately returned to that cashier and asked her to return the $6.00 overcharge. She said she could not give me back the money she had overcharged me...... her cash register was not "set up that way"! She told me I could have a $6.00 store credit, but no money back - even though she admitted she had overcharged me. Two managers came to the front, told me the same thing - the registers were not "set up that way". By that time, several customers were observing this discussion. I told the managers to return my money from their own pockets, then, if the register drawer would not open. The store's mistake could then be rectified later. I explained to them that wrongly taking money, and refusing to give it back, constitutes theft. Suddenly, lo and behold, the register magically opened and my money was returned. I am done with that sham of a store. I should have learned long ago, because every time I was in there, they were arguing with customers over pricing. That store should be shut down.
