Review content:
The quality of the vegetables and fruits at this Seafood City is a bit of a hit-n-miss. As is typical of many asian markets in the Bay Area, you really have to inspect the quality of the produce. The tendency for this grocer is to keep their vegetables and fruits as long as they can, so the produce tends to be over ripe. On the other hand, Seafood City's prices are some of lowest. The only place that beats Seafood City prices for vegetables and fruits is the farmer's market and sometimes Food-4-Less.
For comparison, I like the fruits and vegetables at Food-4-Less better than Seafood City or Safeway. Food-4-Less tends to shine up their roma tomatoes with a bit too much wax, but they always have good quantity, fresh, and relatively low prices.
