Maybe it's that I'm not 21 anymore, nor do I pretend to be but I was in the store a few days ago and had the worst service. At another store, one of the clerks had told me about a sale that Forever 21 was having on camisoles - 2 for $8.99. I couldn't pass it up so I headed on over and asked the first salesperson I saw where I could find the camis. I was told a general direction and headed toward it, my daughter in tow. When I reached that general area and still didn't see a rack of any kind, I asked another salesperson, who seemed a bit annoyed with me for asking and was waved over to another area. I found the rack on my own, with very little help from the salespeople I'd asked. The piles of camis were disorderly and I searched for quite a while before I was able to find what I needed. At one point I asked a passing salesperson a question but was quickly blown off as she hurried away, not to be bothered anymore by my questions. 3 people stood behind the counter near the cash register as I approached to check out. "Did you find everything you were looking for," I was asked? Well, actually, No, I didn't. Your salespeople aren't very helpful here. "Great, that'll be $..." The cashier rang up my few items, completely ignoring my answer. It was, of course, a standard question, not meant to be answered with anything but yes, I found what I needed. She didn't care and she had no intention of pretending to. I mentioned that with such a great sale, I would have like to buy a few more things but just couldn't find what I was looking for and couldn't seem to get any help. "Well, thank you, and have a nice day," was her response. She either hadn't heard a word I said or it just didn't compute as she had her script and was reciting it word for word. A manager, or what seemed to be, stood near by chatting with another salesperson, none of them actually working, and certainly not helping any customers.
Forever 21 is geared for a younger crowd of people and while I may not be that demographic, I'm certainly not far from it. Great sales just aren't enough to keep me coming back to such bad service!
