Odd name! But good food! When I first heard about Rolly Polly, I wondered what on earth it was. Was it a game, a toy, I had no idea. A friend of my ask me to meet him for lunch. I said sure thing, where? He said just meet me at Rolly Polly. I got directions from him and wondered all the way there what kind of place this was.
Once there, I was pleasantly surprised. It's an eatry;!!!
We got our order and sat down to eat. I was intrigued by the thought of a sandwich rolled up!!!
They use tortillias (white or wheat) and have a menu board full of tasty sounding fillings. They fill the tortillia with the fillings of your choice and then roll it up and grill it. It comes to you toasty warm. You can also opt for one that is served cold (not grilled).
This rolly polly has a walk up order counter and when your food is ready it is brought out to your table. They have some delicious flavored tea or fountain drinks or juice.
You can chat with your friends or you can watch the tv that is situated up high way above everybodys heads.
I liked this Rolly Polly place after this first visit.... I can assure you that that was not my last visit there.
