I am a single mother. I have two boys 12 & 19. One has graduated and takes what ever side jobs he can find. My other son is a 7th grader at Seagoville middle school and makes the A B honor roll. Our home was burnt down Oct makes a year plus. I had no insurance due to the fact of how the house was built. Since then I have worked jobs from waiting table to cleaning houses and for the past 6 months i have worked for Footlocker corporation on a training program. Money is not that good. But with it and my child support I barely make it. My future for the boys and I are looking up. But it is like we never have much food. My oldest son is thinking about going to a trading school of some kind. I do not do drugs, no drink. Only once in a great while I have a beer or glass of wine. I don't date, nor go out. My boys are my life. I just need a little help to get through the training so I can start making good money.Christmas last year was nothing not even a turkey. I would love to help my boys see that we are making it slowly. Food stamps for Christmas and maybe a few presents would help make the struggle of starting over so much better for my boys and give them hope. My car is on its last leg. But still running and we live in one bedroom apartment. It is an improvement from the trailer a church helped us get last year. My rent is 500.00 a month plus phone, water and lights. I have had to purchase things slowly at yard sales and cheap stores to start us over. I don't want hand outs. But a little help would work out. Last year I was hospitalized for my heart and stress. i lost a good job over it. Right after my house and and everything burnt down. You see my dad died of a brain tumor then my mom wrecked my truck and broke her neck and ribs. Then we find out my grand mother had breast cancer the my mom lew garret disease. then my step dad died in a car wreck then mom and grandma all in 24 months. No matter what event he depression I wen through I have kept trying. i need a break please help me. Even groceries and a few gifts for my boys would help.
