Businiess name:  Veranda Springs

Review content:
One day my husband and I decided we had enough of Michigan's winters. We were always vacationing in FL each year, living out of suitcases, which gets old fast. Three years ago we found the retirement community of our dreams, Veranda Springs, conveniently located just 2 miles east of I 75, on route 301 in Parrish, FL. We were attracted everything we saw - the well kept mobile homes (and the fact they were all double wide), large lots, the beautiful large swimming pool, the attractive community center with a stage, craft room, exercise facility and very well stocked library. There are tennis courts and shuffleboards for those who seek more activity. The 2 lakes also are a big plus for me as I love to watch waterfowl. In the area of Veranda Springs, on the route 301 corridor, there are probably ten or more "55-and-over" mobile home parks. When we toured them all, we felt Veranda Springs outshone them all. Not only for the reasons stated above but also for the friendliness of the people. The park has about 350 units, an average size park, which makes it nice for getting to know people. Here we have weekly "coffee hours" at the community center, which are well attended. The potlucks, card games, etc. provide plenty of opportunities for making friends. Veranda Springs also has the lowest lot rent size for a retirement park in this area. It's also well kept, allows only Palm Harbor brand homes, which is the premier of this type of structure. We have been extremely happy with our choice of a 2nd home in this park. If I can help anyone with any questions, I'd be more than happy.
