Review content:
This past Friday the high winds took its toll on my property. Where once was a backyard full of big apple trees now lay a rubble of trees torn from the earth. I had no idea the trees in my front yard would also cause me to stress out.
Some may think I am a little "out there" but I come from Greentown, once named for the foliage, and rolling hills of green. Five acres smack dab in the middle of a growing community that I am refusing to sell to developers, because I have watched Greetown turned into a developmental mess.
Back to the subject, one of my trees fell on all the lines going to my house; electric, telephone, and cable. The cable and phone company would not touch it because it was Ohio Edison's duty since it was on their line. They came out at 1 A.M. and said "this is your problem it shouldn't electrocute you", he said this from the safety of his little truck. Seven hours later we tried several tree service numbers from the phone book, they wanted anywhere from $150- $225 to get the tree off the lines. Far too much for me to spend this time of year. And the topper was they could not make it today, Saturday. It would have to wait until Monday.
We found Stubblefield's, he said he would be out in an hour or so. I was surprised, at $75 he took down the tree, minimal mess and it was done within fifteen minutes! I am so pleased with his service that he will be coming back out in the spring to do our roof and help with the trees in the back. I can't say enough good things about Stubblefield's.
