I have had many unpleasant experiences with Aspen Dental in Leominster since my plan began with them. About a year and a half ago I went there had xrays and the dentist told me my wisdom teeth were coming in and needed to be removed immediately...well I couldnt wait since they were pretty painful and I wanted them out sooner than the appts they could give me. They also gave me estimates adding up to $3000! Well that kind of money wasnt in my budget considering I had the most medical and dental coverage a company could provide which they cover EVERYTHING except a copay. Something sounded odd to me that I had to pay out of pocket for this procedure even though I have full coverage. I called around to different oral surgery offices which I recommend Central Mass Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery by the DMV in Leominster. They were professional, friendly, quick to get me into the office and most of all cheap. To make a long story short...Central Mass Oral did the procedure for only a $5 copay!!! Aspen Dental quoted me $3k Thank God I called around otherwise Aspen would have ripped me off like they usually do.
I have had other instances where the employees are loud, obnoxious, and very dirty and grungy looking...like they hired right off the streets. They have no knowledge of how to deal with the general public or anything to do with the dental field. They have overcharged me, screwed up my appointments, never call back and even made me wait for the dentist for 30 minutes after having xrays done then came in to tell me she wouldnt be in due to traffic and that she would call me with the results...and never did! In the meantime I am in the process of switching and am currently collecting my records from them to switch over to another dentist office that is more professional.
