Review content:
I have had many hair cuts here. Mostly because it's the only hair cut I can find in the area under $40. I certainly could afford to spend $20 or $25 on a good hair cut, but I can't find anyone providing a cut in that price range. So, I go to Great Clips for my $11 hair cut about three times a year. I'd go more often, but when I finally do get a good hair cut, I like to keep it for as long as possible. Most hair cuts I get here are miserable. I have had my hair cut by most of their stylists, including the owner/manager. His haircut was actually one of the worst I had received there. I go in telling the stylist that I want a short, fun, choppy, messy, easy to care for hair cut. I tell them that I do not want my bangs cut straight across and I want the curly bits of my hair worked into the haircut as the hair on the left side of my head curls out and there is just no way to change it. Despite what I tell them, they continue to cut my bangs straight across and battle to tame the curl on the left side of my head. Somehow I still feel obligated to tip, I'm not sure why. If I could find something else in my price range, I would never return to this shop. The only reason I gave them even one star is because of Kenya, their only decent stylist. She gave me a couple of great cuts, but I have not seen her in for some time. I'm hoping she's still there, but I suspect she may not be.
