Businiess name:  Winn-Dixie

Review content:
When I was a kid, Winn Dixie stores were some of the biggest grocery stores in the South -- this was before Kroger and Food Lion moved in to the area, and Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie were the big stores. Winn Dixie had their own line of inexpensive but good "CHEK" items, and they were the Beef People. But somewhere along the way in the 80's-90's, I guess, the stores fell on hard times. I know I wouldn't set foot in one because they were dirty, smelled bad and the service was poor. What a difference! And what a difference a few years makes. Now, Winn Dixie is one of my favorite places to shop. They have cleaned up the stores, the selection is pretty good (Publix is hard to beat), the meat section is excellent, service has improved noticeably, and the deals I get with my Winn Dixie card make my budget smile. Plus, W-D is just up the street from my house -- they really ARE your Neighborhood Store!
