I adopted two cats from Saving Paws about 3 years ago. One of them was an older special-needs cat (diabetic), that passed away just two days ago, but he was one of the best companions I ever had! The other cat is doing well, and I hope to adopt another from this shelter in a couple of months. Saving Paws is a little place in rural Appleton and, at the time I wanted to look at the animals, I had to make an appointment. But Michelle, the director of the shelter, was good at matching me with the most compatible cats, and she obviously cares about the well-being of the animals--as she personally contacted the two references I listed on my adoption application. All things considered, I highly recommend Saving Paws and hope you will join me in supporting them, and adopting your next pet from them! It was truly an uplifting experience for me, and I hope to do it again!
