Recently,my girlfriend and I went to Fuddruckers for dinner.We went to the location in Highland Park,Illinois.I have always received great service and the food was always cooked to order.This recent experience is why I will never set foot in a Fuddruckers again.First of all,when we ordered our food,the cashier did not speak or understand English too well.My girlfriend and I had to keep repeating our order over and over again.I ordered a hamburger medium rare and it turned out almost well done.When I tried to explain that the burger was overcooked,I was told that nothing could be done about it.No refund,no offer to cook another burger to order.I have always enjoyed dining at Fuddruckers,but this experience changed all that.The old addage here is you get what you pay for.Seems to me that the owner of this franchise would pay a little more to get quality help and not line his or her pockets with the profits.Having a cashier that can hardly speak English is totally unacceptable.I am truly disappointed.
