Businiess name:  Eppes Essen
Review by:  Pat B.
Review content:
A friend told me about this delicatessen had the best pastrami sandwiches in New Jersey. He was right. This deli/restaurant is a favorite in Livingston, NJ. Known for their mile high sandwiches and hot dishes, Eppes Essen is a winner. Located right past the Livingston Town Center on East Mount Pleasant Avenue. Ample parking in the rear of the building. The overstuffed hot pastrami sandwich was delicious. Served on seeded rye bread with mustard, coleslaw and half sour pickles. There are daily lunch and dinner specials and the locals seem to know just what to order. The restaurant also carries a great selection of items for takeout like smoked salmon, lox, bagels, pastries, and deli platters--they do a brisk business, I understand, during the holidays. Eat in or take it home. Whichever you choose, you won't be hungry. Open seven days a week. www.roadrunnerdelivers.net
