California Dreaming Restaurant is a great restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina. It is located at 1 Ashley Point Drive. I have been impressed by this place ever since I discovered it moons ago. You may go to their website and learn more: http://www.newyorkprime.com/califdreaming/cd-charleston/cdcharles-intro.html . If you don't make reservations or at least phone ahead, you'll be looking at at least an hour wait, probably much more. The restaurant is always busy and sometimes the wait staff lacks a lot to be desired. The food is ok, but the view of the water makes up for anything that you find wrong. The ribs (all kinds) and burgers are great, though. I always get the California Dreaming Salad or the Filet Mignon or the Fried Shrimp Platter. l also love the Fried Flounder or the Oven Roasted Salmon. But l have found nothing l didn't like at this place. You won't either.
