I'm not a huge chain restaurant person, I'll admit. But I've always enjoyed Pizzeria Uno (since real Chicago style pizza just isn't available in New York).
I won a recent Judy's Book challenge, the reward for which was a giftcertificates.com SuperCertificate. I knew I wanted to use that so my husband and I could dine out, so I ordered the gift card for Pizzeria Uno.
The Uno location in Central Valley, NY did not disappoint. They have changed the menu somewhat since I last dined there, adding flatbread pizzas and a whole bunch of new appetizers. Their cocktail list was also diverse (I had a nice Sangria there), though I wish prices were listed for the drinks, something that was noticeably absent (and a common tactic at many restaurants).
All in all, this is a great place for a chain pizzeria. The service was friendly, quick. The prices were right (we did pay a bit over the gift card amount). This particular location is great on a weeknight, when traffic is absent from the nearby Woodbury Common Premium Outlet. I have to recommend the pizza I had -- the Farmer's Market. It was nothing like the meat-loving type pizzas Uno is known for, and it was delicious (as well as a whole lot healthier).
