When we first moved to this area and while we were in an apartment, we had the paper delivered and we had great service. When we were getting ready to move from the apartment to a house the end of May, we had it stopped. In August we ordered it again after having moved into a house in a different neighborhood. We decided to just take the Sunday paper. The first entire first month, I had to call it in as a "missed paper." Then we got one delivered correctly and then about 4 more times, no paper. It was extremely frustrating so I called them and ask them to cancel the paper for me because I had to call every Sunday to have them come out with one. It was just as easy for me to go to Walmart and pick one up. They did NOT stop it, infact, they CHARGED my credit card account for $15.46 just this past week. I called them up and asked them why I was being charged and she said I was on the "auto renewal." I know that was never the case when we signed up to take it but they were nice enough to apologize for any inconvenience and credited me back. I told them I knew it wasn't the paper itself, but whoever our delivery person was, had to be the worst we've ever had. I explained that we had home delivery in MD and FL and I could count the number of missed papers on my left hand .. all that in 40 years. I would think twice and get references before we'd ever take home delivery again with the Colorado Springs Gazette.
