Once here was enough for us. We had a reservation for 4, and waited over an hour just to get seated. Once seated things just got worse. A 30 minute wait to get our drinks (just beers !), and another 20 minutes passed at the table with no sign of the teppan chef. I spoke to the waitress and told her that we were leaving to eat somewhere else, as we had been waiting almost 2 hours since checking in for our "reservation" and no food in sight. She did apologize, and convinced us to stay, which as it turned out, was a mistake on our part. The chef finally did show, made the food as ordered, and was out of there almost as quick as he arrived. Food itself wasn't bad, but I wanted to talk to a manager about the long wait. The response from the waitress was not what I expected. She came back and said: "Mrs. O won't come out and talk to you. She said to give you ice cream". I again asked, nicely, to speak with a manager. The waitress tried on our behalf,, she was nice and understanding, but the owner/manager, "Mrs. O", refused to even come out and talk to us. I felt that after all that happened, the least they could do was comp us a couple drinks, but the answer was no from Mrs. O, and no, I won't even come out and discuss the matter with you. Amazing. We were 4 paying customers, with a reasonable complaint, trying to speak to someone in charge about the matter, and they refused to even speak with us. Our waitress felt so bad that as we were leaving tried to give us $10 out of her own tips ! We refused her, of course, but how bad is it when a waitress has to offer her own hard-earned tips to a customer because they were treated so poorly? Needless to say, this was our groups first, and last, time at this restaurant. Too bad, because this type of restaurant (teppan style) can be alot of fun, and we were looking forward to a nice evening out. If you go,hope for a flawess meal experience. Just know, if something goes wrong, you are on your own. The management and/or owners really don't care about you.
