I'd love to be able to get rid of my home phone line but my cell phone doesn't work inside the house. Can you believe it? All the great new technology available and I can't get cell phone reception inside. I live in a big city too. My whole purpose of getting a cell phone was to eliminate my land line and just use a cell. I could then enjoy all the extras and my phone would always be with me in case of an emergency. At my age this is important.
After searching and comparing rates and service, I decided to go with T-Mobile. It was the only one I could afford. I figured, I only need to be able to call in case of an emergency and my husband and I can call each other for free. It's expensive but I need to have a phone with me.

My phone works great outside, inside stores, in the car, everywhere except where I really need it to work. I have a Razor cell phone, it came free with the service. It takes pictures and does a bunch of other great things that I have yet to figure out. I probably would take the time to explore the options if it worked inside.
I'd change carriers but I can't afford any of them. T-Mobile had the best price for two phones, mine and my husbands.
While the service is great everywhere else, I suppose the company itself is ok, but I have to rank it lower due to the lack of transmission quality.
