Businiess name:  Wuollet Bakery
Review by:  Karin G.
Review content:
The Wuollet Bakery is a wonderful place. They have three locations that I know of. You can find their wonderful bakery goods in Saint Paul, on Grand Avenue, next to the whimsical Bibelot, in Minneapolis, in Uptown, and in White Bear Lake next to Good Things. Nearly I enter Wuollet's I order a cupcake and Coke. First of all, the Coke is bottled, and Coke is best in a bottle, you'll have to trust me on that. Second of all, the cupcake, the great cupcake. Each cupcake is topped with a heaping amount of their wonderful frosting. You'll have to try it. Although I enjoy chocolate, I have found that the white cupcakes are best. I'm not entirely sure why, but they are. It seems that their white cake is more moist than their chocolate, and slightly more fluffy. The chocolate cake, from my limited experience (I'd guess 20-25 cupcake-coke visits) is often dryer and dense. Additionally, I have ordered a cake in the past, which was good, but for some reason, the cupcakes are better. Lastly, I would like to mention I have purchased a small amount of Christmas cookies there, in a weak moment a couple of years ago, and they are equally delightful as their cupcakes. If you would like to enjoy Wuollet's in all it's glory, here is how it should be: Plan a girls' day. Pull out the jeans that fit just right, your tall boots that make you feel stylish, your pea coat or knee length long coat and a cute hat. Enjoy what Grand Avenue has to offer: fun shops, great eats, nice people. Stop in and purchase a white cupcake, lavishly topped with white frosting, drizzled with chocolate with a Coke and yes, you would like it opened. Sit down over at the high tables, near the window and enjoy the warm atmosphere. If enjoying this outing during the Christmas season, beginning singing...city sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style.... :) enjoy!
