Illuminations isn’t your run-of-the-mill candle store. Located on the lower level of Stoneridge Mall at the edge of the Sears corridor, this shop offers a wide array of scented candles and home décor products guaranteed to help ready your home for any holiday. The store itself is small and has narrow aisles, so leave the stroller outside and bring the kids in with you or you might just get stuck. Take some time to admire the beautiful wall sconces and seasonal jars and candle holders as you make your way to the back of the store. Sniff each jar candle and enjoy the variety of scents available for purchase. There’s a scent for just about everyone and they come in a variety of sizes. The employees are helpful and willing to assist you – just ask if they don’t ask you first! The one drawback to this store is the prices – they do tend to be on the high side of average. However, the products are of good quality, so they’re worth the extra expense. Check out Illuminations the next time you’re at the mall!
