If your washer or dryer is in need of repair and you have a handyman around the house to fix it the place to go is Fox Appliance Parts of Augusta (no relation)http://www.foxaugusta.com/ . They have been in Augusta for as long as I can remember, and if any appliance around our house breaks I am usually the one sent there, broken part in hand, to get a replacement. As long as I have the model number and name of the appliance to be fixed someone there has always been able to get me what I need.
Most of the time I am the only woman there, which makes me feel a little weird, but they are always as nice as they can be and wait on me a quickly as possible. It's a very busy place because contractors come there for parts also, and sometimes you do have to wait in line but those guys know their business and they move things along pretty fast.
